I have noticed often enough that this is just what my they need. Setting aside my important tasks, I sit down to have a cup of tea to listen to them chat about their challenges for the day. As much as I can, I try to understand more about their world. It is in this sacred space that we hold heart-to-heart connection. I endeavor to create a space where there is safety for them to share about their vulnerabilities, imperfections and flaws without being judged.
